Malcolm Ingry who provides our operatives with 1st class training, advice
and guidance in all aspects relating to commercial, military, and improvised
explosives.
Malcolm is Vice President of The Institute of Explosives Engineers, and General Manager of Exchem, the largest manufacturer of explosives and associated accessories in the UK. Malcolm has over 45 years of experience in the mining and quarrying industries in the UK and overseas, and has gained specialist qualifications, allowing him to carry out explosives engineering in all aspects of commercial blasting. This makes him one of the most highly
Malcolm is a leading authority on commercial and military explosives possessing unquestionable knowledge of substances used by terrorists throughout the globe. He is also responsible for running the High Explosives Course leading to the entrance exam into the Institute of Explosives Engineers, and this level of expertise has enabled him to provide advice and guidance to H.M. Special Forces.
Malcolm also conducts explosives awareness courses on a range in the West of England in order to provide personnel from the police and security services with the opportunity to achieve hands-on experience in the use of various types of military and commercial explosives.
Additionally, Malcolm is responsible for all accredited training for Special Effects Personnel in the feature film industry, and has been responsible for the pyrotechnic effects on numerous films including Saving Private Ryan, Band of Brothers, and the last three Bond movies.
